The boy on the wall

In this excersice we were supposed to extract to images and paste them against the brick wall taking care to adjust the light and colour levels to match the background. Rather than just pasting them against a wall which seemed a bit boring I decided to try to integrate the guy with the wall. The trick here was to remove the text “covered” by the head, and the dark box thing in the bottom left corner. I’m still divided as to if the text should show through the guys hair or not. I gave the girl a slight drop shadow so she’s not flat against the wall. But maybe I should have taken care of light on the upper border of her right arm.
